hola lovers, just got back from a much needed day off to spend shopping. Realised how materialistic i am as a person, and spent roughly an hour and a half debating whether or not to buy fluffy love heart shaped ear muffs like abbey lee has, because clearly i needed them. In the end i bought a mixture of bangles and hairties, scarves and leather gloves, i managed to drag myself away from the ear muffs, but i think i might have to send a friend to go and pick them up for me, because i can't stop thinking about the delightful things. I met this guy in the antique shop who was playing Florence and The Machine from his cd player, and discovered he was telling people that her concert was in August. I then had the pleasure of explaining that it was in July, not August, which he didn't believe me. So note to the antique shop guy: have fun in August when you're standing in an empty stadium. Now that i'm home i can't stop playing florence and artic monkeys on repeat -which is lovely for the neighbours as i prefer to make use of my surround-sound system speakers that conveniently play outside also. Going out for dinner tonight with some people, it's actually my mother's birthday, so i made her this darling little box that i decorated with sequins, glitter, buttons, pearls and broken bits of a few glass bubbles that used to hang from my ceiling. Then i filled it with these sweet little antique birds made of sparkly buttons and other tiny unidentifiable things. When i have finnished posting today's inspiration i shall go and help tidy the house abit and start to get ready for tonight. Have so many things happening this weekend, am getting acrylics tomorrow morning and am going out to the lake tomorrow afternoon before having some friends over for the night. Possibly then staying at a friends and performing evil things on sunday, the possibilities are endless. Have a fantastic friday night, dream of paris and other heavenly places, BON VOYAGE.
